Google Maps 5.0 is now available for Android. Although it has arrived with some delay, the new version of Google Maps has been submitted by Google users with a mobile phone operating system Android 1.6 as a minimum, but of course Google Maps 5.0 is fully compatible with all later, and with the brand new Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
