The figures show a total of 30 million units of the popular device that has carved a niche among the general public. And there is nothing better than word of mouth, Orange uses the occasion to launch a campaign to attract new customers by offering the Samsung S5230 Star without cost.

The resistive touch screen 3 inches, a simple 3.2 megapixel camera and the lack of 3G connectivity factors have not been disappointing enough to make the Samsung S5230 Star in one of the phones sold, luckily for the Korean automaker.

In this case Orange makes available any of the charges Lion, Panda and Squirrel with a commitment to stay for 18 months as a prerequisite for us with the said terminal through a portability. To install any update, the Samsung S Galaxy uses an application called Samsung Kies, available on its official website, and compatible computers with Windows OS (the version of MacOSX is still in development).

The process is as simple as installing Samsung Kies, connect your phone to your computer via USB cable, wait for it to install and configure the necessary drivers, and finally, access to the section on “Update Firmware” Samsung Kies, we indicate the steps to complete the process.

We must remember that this step is the most sensitive of all and is very important not to disconnect or the USB cable or the computer in the course of it, for your Samsung Galaxy S may be damaged.
